Clinical and genetic characteristics of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients with end-stage disease: A registry-based study.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an inherited disorder characterised by left ventricular hypertrophy. A small proportion of HCM patients progress to ‘end-stage’ heart failure. The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical and genetic features, progression and outcome of end-stage HCM patients.
