The annual NSW Asthma Meeting will be held Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November, 2019 at the Centenary Institute in the Sydney University and RPA Hospital precinct.

A focus of this year’s Meeting will be the study of respiratory infections and the association of these infections with asthma and COPD.
The Meeting is designed to highlight and provide an overview of areas of importance in asthma, COPD and airways research and to develop new and strengthen ongoing collaborations in an informal setting.
The program will feature a mix of clinical and basic science talks that will be presented in sessional themes.
The Meeting also provides a great opportunity for junior post-docs and PhD students to present their work and to talk about potential interactions and collaborations.

From Sydney Airport the most efficient way to travel is either to take a taxi directly to Centenary Institute or your hotel, or take the airport train to the city.
A taxi/Uber from Sydney Airport to Centenary Institute will cost approximately $30-$35 (please note this is approximate) and takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
There are three train stations within a 3 km walk of the meeting venue (Central, Redfern, and Newtown). Redfern station is approximately 20 minutes walk from the venue. Buses depart central station to bus stops just outside the grounds of Sydney University on Paramatta Road, a short walk to Centenary Institute.
