A gift in your Will

Your legacy can create a healthier future for all

Writing a Will is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your family. When considering your Will, the first priority should always be to take care of your loved ones. After that, you might also consider leaving a gift in Will to the Centenary Institute. Your gift will serve to honour your memory, carry on the beliefs and values you hold close to your heart, and give lasting hope for future generations.

We are deeply honoured that so many thoughtful supporters have chosen to remember the Centenary Institute in their Will. Gifts in Will play a crucial role in safeguarding the Institute’s future capabilities by ensuring the important progress we are making today can continue until a treatment — or a cure — is found.

By remembering Centenary in your Will, you can change the lives of future generations. Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference — in fact, even 1% of your estate can have a transformative impact on the future of health.

Leaving a gift in Will to Centenary

When making a Will, the first priority is to talk to your loved ones about your intentions and let them know that leaving a gift to medical research is important to you. This can help to ensure that your personal legacy and wishes will be met.

Your bequest will depend on your personal and family circumstances, and it is important to seek independent and professional advice. Following that, it’s easy to make a bequest to the Centenary Institute. You can either include the bequest when you write or update your Will, or simply add one as a codicil to your existing Will.

Although we are unable to provide you with legal advice or directly assist you in writing your Will, we can provide you with key information to pass on to your solicitor or adviser.

Please download a free copy of our Gift in Will information pack to learn more, or alternatively contact David Bond on 1800 677 977 or d.bond@centenary.org.au. He would be delighted to speak with you, and your enquiry will be treated confidentially and without obligation. If you have included a gift to Centenary in your Will, please let us know. We would welcome the opportunity to thank you personally for your support. Your privacy will be fully respected and the information you provide will remain strictly confidential.
