About us

We are an independent medical research institute established in 1985.

The Centenary Institute is an independent medical research institute that was established in 1985 under the New South Wales Government’s ‘Centenary Institute of Cancer Medicine and Cell Biology Act 1985’.

The institute is governed by a Board of Governors that is supported by a range of committees covering risk and audit, investment, commercialisation, and culture.
