Research Grants Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Grants Manager to join our team at Centenary. As our Grants Manager you’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team of researchers and professionals who share your passion for advancing medical research.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to identify, develop and manage grant opportunities/ administration to support our research programs from pre award, post award and grant termination. In addition, this role will lead the set up and management for our new student education office.

You will have :
- Relevant tertiary qualification in health, science or business, ideally with a PhD in Science
- Experience in grants management or a strong understanding of the Australia research environment will be highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal ,oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical, research and writing skills
- Solutions focused attitude and approach
- High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with the capacity to exercise initiative and judgement
- Ability to effectively engage with and maintain a strong network of diverse stakeholder relationships

Salary Packaging
As a not for profit we offer a generous salary packaging option (including a $15,900 tax free component plus meal and entertainment allowances) which allows you to increase your take home pay. After a qualifying period of employment, employees are eligible to make additional superannuation contribution which centenary will match up to a total of 17% -
