‘When Art Meets Science’ image prize and exhibition

To be hosted by Sophie Scott OAM, award-winning medical TV journalist, international speaker and educator, ‘When Art Meets Science’ is being held during National Science Week to recognise scientific advances being made by researchers at Centenary.
Join us during National Science Week for a stunning showcase of images captured by our researchers as part of their pioneering medical research. From the intricate structures of cells to breathtaking visuals of life at the microscopic level, this exhibition reveals the hidden wonders of the human body and the scientific journey to improve health.
Sophie Scott OAM, award-winning medical TV journalist, international speaker and educator, will host a panel discussion, with Centenary scientists Dr Bobby Boumelhem, Post Doc Research Officer Centre for Cancer Innovations, Chirag Parsania, Researcher Officer Centre for Rare Diseases and Gene Therapy, Yuchen Chang, PhD Student Centre for Cardiovascular Research and Dr Angela Ferguson, PostDoc Scientist Centre for Cancer and Innovations, sharing the research and inspiration behind their visual creations, all in the pursuit of life-saving discoveries.
Winners of the 2025 Prize will be announced, followed by the exhibition launch, networking and refreshments.
