Celebrating Art, Supporting Science

On Friday 14 August, Sydney’s art and science worlds came together to show their recognition and support of Australia’s most creative and innovative talents.

A wonderful showcase of artworks by young emerging artists were exhibited at Dominik Mersch Gallery and auctioned in support of Centenary Institute scientists.

Around 150 people attended the evening, with art sales raising over $6,000 for the Centenary Institute.

We offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who attended, as well as our sponsors for the evening, Dominik Mersch Gallery, Morgan Stanley and the National Art School.

  • Support for state-of-the-art cancer research projects

    The Centenary Institute has received important funding from the RT Hall Trust to bolster two ground-breaking cancer research initiatives. Almost one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Cancer is a leading cause of death, claiming around 50,000 Australians annually.
