Centenary Institute cancer research recognised by Cancer Council NSW
Centenary Institute cancer research has been recognised by Cancer Council NSW at their 2018 Research Awards announcement last night.
Centenary has been awarded four Project Grants by Cancer Council NSW, supporting the ground-breaking research being undertaken by Professor Peter Hersey, Associate Professor Jeff Holst, Dr Mainthan Palendira, Dr Jessamy Tiffen and Dr Stuart Gallagher in the areas of melanoma and breast cancer research. We congratulate each of the successful recipients and their research teams.
We also congratulate Professor John Rasko AO, Head of our Gene and Stem Cell Therapy Program on his Cancer Council NSW Pathways to a Cancer Free Future Grant awarded through his work at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Centenary is extremely grateful to Cancer Council NSW for this recognition and for their significant contribution to cancer research.
