Vale Ann
It is with great sadness to hear of the news that Dr Ann Formaz-Preston, a past Research Assistant in the Vascular Biology Program at the Centenary Institute, has passed away over the weekend while bike riding.
Ann worked part-time in Vascular Biology, under the supervision of Professor Jenny Gamble, while completing her studies at the Sydney Adventist Clinical School (just two years ago) where she topped her year and received the inaugural Marie Bashir Prize, and was also unanimously judged by her peers and the staff as the worthiest inaugural winner of the John Glenton Watson Memorial Prize.
Ann will be remembered by everyone at the Centenary Institute for being one of the nicest people, always helpful, obliging, smart and someone whom one wanted to be around. Her positive nature was infectious, she gave off positive vibes to everyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed.
