Dr Chris Roberts AO

Appointed Governor in 2015

BE (Hons), PhD, Hon DSc (UNSW), MBA, Hon DSc (Macq), FAICD, FTSE, FIEAust (Hon)

Dr Roberts is the former Chief Executive Officer of Cochlear Limited and currently a Member of the Cochlear Foundation Board.

He is the former Chairman of The Engineering and Design Institute – London (TEDI-London) and non-Executive Director of Sigma Healthcare, HMC Capital, Healthco Health and Wellness, REIT, Clarity Pharmaceuticals, AtmoBiosciences Limited and Chairman of Nutromics Pty Ltd.

He was Chairman of Research Australia (2004 – 2010). Dr Roberts has worked in the medical device industry for over 40 years in a number of senior management positions.
